You’ve invested a lot of time and money into your website, so it only makes sense to protect your investment. WordPress websites shouldn’t be built with a set-and-forget attitude. They must be kept up-to-date, backed up and monitored for any changes or errors. This will help maintain a competitive advantage, improve your speed and ranking, and avoid any potential problems.

01. Regular updates to keep your website secure

I will keep your WordPress website updated to the latest versions of WordPress, themes, and plugins. These updates often include important security patches that help protect your website from hackers.

I will also monitor your website for any changes or errors that may occur after an update. If we run into any errors on your website, up to one hour of troubleshooting is included per month on all plans to fix the problem.

02. Backups to protect your website

I will take daily backups of your WordPress website stored offsite in a secure cloud-based location so that you can rest assured knowing that your data is safe and can be restored if anything goes wrong. You can also have me restore a website backup for you once every month at no additional cost.

03. Monitoring to catch any problems

I will continuously monitor your website for any uptime issues, malware, or other changes that could impact the performance or security of your site. If any problems are detected, I will investigate and fix recurring downtime issues.

04. Monthly Report outlining tasks completed

You will receive a monthly report outlining all of the tasks completed on your website for that month. This will include any WordPress updates, plugin updates, backups taken, and any other changes or maintenance tasks that were completed. It will tell you how your website is tracking and outline any suggested improvements.

FAQ

No, you don’t have to be an existing client to sign on to my website maintenance plan. However, I do prefer to offer maintenance plans to websites that I have built. This is because I am familiar with how the website has been built and can more easily troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

If you are interested in signing up for a maintenance plan for your website, that has not been built by me, a compulsory website audit is required before proceeding. Any problematic findings from the audit need to be handled before the website maintenance plan can commence.

No, there is no minimum contract for the website maintenance plan. It is a month-to-month service agreement with no lock-in contracts paid in advance. However, you do get a month free if you pay for a year upfront.

If you need more than one hour of support per month, we can either extend your existing plan or switch you to a custom plan that better suits your needs. Additional hours are billed at my standard hourly rate, unless on a premium or professional plan when a 10% discount applies.

If you have an emergency and need immediate support, a call-out fee applies. This is in addition to any hours required to fix the problem.

I accept payments via bank transfer, or credit card (via Stripe). You can choose to be invoiced monthly or upfront for the year. If paying upfront for the year, you will receive one month free.
